It is the result of crossbreeding a  purebred Cavalier with a purebred Poodle.  Designer breeds or doodling has become more popular as people are searching for dogs that are hypoallergenic or don't shed.  Cavapoo puppies are cute little dogs that generally have a slender poodle bodies and have poodle coats, however they will have cavalier rounded head and muzzle with long ears.  Other traits shared are poodle high energy and cavalier friendliness.
